A friend forwarded this magical video to me the other day. So I took a break from my hardcore to have a listen. It made me smile. I’m not a jazz fan but this one nabs me with its simplicity. It’s called “Be Good.” I love the way Gregory Porter’s dressed. This whole video — it’s so me! — as my friend pointed out.
Be Good is her name… LOVE THIS!!!
thanks Sandee!!,
I’m glad you enjoyed it Lisa! The message is so simple…
Oh, I loved it!! I like when she waltzes around by herself. Of course, all the dancing! Thanks for sharing that.
I’m glad you enjoyed that! It’s kind of quirky I thought…
Lovely and magical.
I agree — thanks Mary!
Thanks again for introducing me to this. I liked it so much, I’ve spent some of my itunes money on Gregory Porter music. He is awesome!
So cool the way the blogosphere works! Interesting too because a friend forwarded to me primarily because of the quirky style of it all. As you know I’m usually a \m/ kinda girl — an old ass metal head — weird weird weird… Enjoy Mary!
This is wonderful. Very eclectic. I enjoy eclectic a great deal.
Thank you Shauna!
This has a nice mellow vibe, easy listening…I like it. 😉
Thanks Phil! My friend thought I might relate to the off-beat style of the video. It’s a departure from my hardcore death metal taste!
Love it! It shall join my DJing repertoire and I shall dance to it! 🙂
Oh wow! Really?! I’m glad you could appreciate it!
Absolutely!
So sweet and charming!
I’m glad you enjoyed it! I usually post death metal or hardcore when I do post music — ahaha! This is quite the departure 🙂 Thanks for stopping by…
I love it. What a voice. I want that tangerine tuxedo shirt. Do you have one? Sadly, it is not my color….
Happy New Year, Sandee!!!
I might just try that color in the new year — yay! I do have a tangerine pocketbook. I wear black for the most part. I like pink though. I’ll bet pink looks good on you. I get the feeling from a couple of your posts that you like pink also. I do have pink accents, like the chain for my eyeglasses, and a jacket that I wear underneath my coat. Happy New Year Katherine!
With this video you’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching, love like you’ll never be hurt, sing like there’s nobody listening, and live like it’s heaven on hell. May our trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May our mountains rise into and above the clouds.
10Q!
… & be good!!
Indeed Dugutigui! Why the hell not!
