Hahahaha, haha — boo hoo hoo!

Published December 3, 2012 by Sandee

Are you ready?  There’s gonna be a whole lotta me on this blog!  I’m unemployed beginning tomorrow!  So I’ll be posting three, four, five, six, seven, eight times a day! Between this and going to the nudist colony with my friend “Tom,” I should be quite occupied. Don’t worry, the posts will be substantive, maybe one or two of them anyway, the others will be run-of-the-mill whining, self-searching, lashing-out, self-flagellating, accusatory stuff.

I kicked it all off today with a really nice dinner at Mamajuana with a couple of friends, a brilliant distraction from the reverie of doom that might occupy my mind on the dawn of unemployment. The good news is that I may be back to work there in the Springtime.  How could you not want to work here — yeah I used my cheap ass phone camera:

Haha, so cute — my boss on my first review there seven years ago, says, she says, “Sandee enjoys coming to work.”

I was an enthusiastic five-year old swinging a new lunch pail on the way to kindergarten.

See you all in fifteen minutes with my next posting!

  • Sandee, I’m feeling mighty anxious about my own situation but I don’t get the sense that you’re about to crumble. You sound like your sense of humor is in tact and your looking at this with the right attitude. I need to be more like you.
My goodness, those pictures are gorgeous. It’s like you worked in heaven.
I know it will come together for you. Maybe this is a big “course correction?” I like that term because it feels like divine intervention. I could use a band of God’s angels around me right about now. Haha! I hope the new direction for both of us is everything we’ve been hoping for.

    • It was like heaven. The weeping beech picture was yesterday when it was densely foggy — loved it. This place was beautiful whenever.

I hope these latest incidents in our lives are ‘course corrections’ — I like this. I’m also allowing myself to reach out to ‘angels’, friends, if you will. I was glad to hear that your daughter was hanging out with you. Stay strong Lisa! I think you have a good sense of humor as well. It does help. And thanks for the feedback.

    • What a wonderful idea, floating away on that lily pad…

The irony for me, when I find the future painful to look at, is that I can stay in the moment and enjoy the here and now better — like they talk about in zen.

I’m glad you decided nay on the muumuu! Hoping all goes smoothly for you Fish.

    • I completely understand. Thanks! I see it as free time too and actually looked forward to it. I’m just dealing with feelings of fear for the uncertainty. But overall I think I might be able to turn this all around to my advantage ~hopefully~.

  • I wanna work there, and I hate being outdoors. That should tell you how lovely it really is.

I hope you can find some temp work or something in the meantime. Not that I don’t want you posting a billion times a day. More Sandee in my life can only be a good thing.

    • Aw Mary — how sweet! Thank you! And thanks for your well-wishes for real!

Hehehe — maybe since this place is a public garden, I’ll go there everyday during my ‘sabatical’ and just stand outside the house where I used to work with watery puppy dog eyes.

    • Thanks BF! I’m so glad you appreciate the pictures — this is a long standing thing with my crappy free phone camera photos! I just imagine how beautiful these would be with a legit camera! Especially that weeping European beech in the fog…
