I’ve had an author page for a couple of weeks. I thought somehow that intergalactic cosmic waves would transmit my desire for you to ‘like’ it which rendered me mute on the subject. Why should I ask anything if it’s already being transmitted cosmically?
But I had forgotten. This is only my ideal that hasn’t happened yet. I would especially dig this mode of communication so that we don’t have to talk. Speaking is often useless, thanks to double talk, diarrhea of the mouth, audible circular mind threads (These drive me NUTS!), and repetitive verbal dronings.
Here’s my author page: My Author Page
Would you do me a solid and ‘like’ it?
Hey look! What page do you have? Schlep it to my comments section and I’ll ‘like’ it — honest Abe!
So go on out there and enjoy your day. Enjoy the day as no other because it’s all you have! Today is a day that you should take the time to enjoy! Live one day at a time because you don’t know if you’ll get another day. Okay? Have a great day!
David Byrne: “You start a conversation you can’t even finish. You’re talking a lot, but you’re not saying anything. When I have nothing to say, my lips are sealed. Say something once why say it again?…We are vain and we are blind. I hate people when they’re not polite.” My rendition of David Byrne: Psycho killer, blah blah blah…
I have already liked it and subscribed. Sadly, I learned from my own recent FB post, that just because we subscribe to something doesn’t mean FB will send us the updates for that page in our news feed. We need to add them to lists to be sure to receive the info. Grrrr–one more thing to do. Thanks, FB. Maybe they’re using Sandee’s cosmic communication method…
I used your model — sort of — before writing this. “How did Carrie ask people to like her page,” I thought. My first thought was to write, ‘Please like this page’ — period — haha!
Good to know about the news feed — yes I agree — arghhh!
Thanks Carrie! I’m also going to get that book on outlining you told me about.
Yes, it’s a great book. I just went through FB and put all the bloggers’ pages I follow into a list. Let’s hope it keeps me updated…
I’ll do this too. I’m just too remiss when it comes to things like this.
I have one too. Everytime I get a like it makes my heart sparkle. Believe me every time you get a new like it’ll make your heart soar. I saw one blogger that had over 10,000 likes on her author page. I’m so envious! Here’s mine. Like me please honey. Please. Giggle.

Yay! I liked you page! Thanks for liking mine. 10,000 likes — how the hell?! Maybe I’ll march up and down Times Square wearing a placard begging — I mean asking people to like my page — dammit! Thanks again Renee — take care!
Thank you honey. And I think it’s because she’s been freshly pressed. I say fuck too much for that to happen. hahahahahahaha. Much love to you my dear!
Love to you too Renee — thanks again! xoxo
I already liked you, but now it’s official.
Awre… Thanks so much!
I’m not on FB much but did “like” to show my support 🙂
Thanks Lynne! And if you know what’s good for you — you should stay the hell off of fb! I wouldn’t be on the doggone thing if I didn’t have a book to guerilla market 🙂 I swore I’d never ever go on it… You learn more than you’ll ever want to know about people.
I don’t do face book but you gotta know I’ve got nothing but love for you, Sandee!
I actually have Psycho Killer on my mixed CD in the car right now. Isn’t that weird? It reminds me of a certain time and place when I was probably at the top of my game – loving life and thinking I was all that. Haha! Now I drive around listening to it looking all wrinkled, fat, mis-shapen, with bad hair and I try to find my mojo. LOL!!
Have a great weekend!
Grippy
I’m choking on my egg roll reading this! You make me laugh!
I’ve always wanted to sing this karaoke, with a facial tick — like somebody about to crack.
Thanks Grippy — you have a great weekend too…
I ‘liked’ you Sandee but I have noticed that people with ‘artist pages’ on facebooks unless they are hugely well known like Grand Funk who have 17,000 or so (but have also had at least 13 studio albums and been around since 1969) – where was I, to get tons of likes most people are well-known to begin with. So don’t feel badly about it. Like you said, enjoy this day, or at this point, this evening.
Yeah I know I’ll probably not get that many likes but as long as I have a like from you, that’s all that matters — mwa!
Officially stalking, I meant following you 🙂
Hehehehe! Thank you BB!
I enjoy your posts! I have nominated you for the Sunshine Award http://www.spilledcookies.com
Thanks SC! I tell people I don’t really accept awards but I appreciate the nomination. I keep the thought close to my heart! 🙂
Done, SCB. I need to improve my FB presence, but not today. Maybe tomorrow.
Happy Saturday!
Happy Saturday! Thanks Stacie — much appreciated!
Yay! Liked!
Thanks so much — I really appreciate it!
why, of course I was gonna like your page!
Oops, I liked it with my cat’s page. Hold on…..
Oooohhh Satchie — so cute!
yeah! I can like it again with Satchie’s page if you want
Liked. I had taken the FB like button off my blog and emigrated from Facebook, but now I visit a bit more and have my page up again.
